Ship traffic through Hormuz Strait collapses
Commercial shipping through the strategically important Hormuz Strait has drastically declined: over the weekend, only 12 merchant ships passed through the strait, compared to 35 in the previous week. Tensions in the Persian Gulf remain at high levels, while negotiations between the USA and Iran continue.
