145 tons of invasive pufferfish removed from Cypriot waters
Over the past two years, approximately 145 tons of the invasive species silver-cheeked pufferfish (locally called 'rabbit head') have been removed from Cypriot waters. The program runs until 2029 with a budget of 1.304 million euros, of which 70 percent is financed by the EU. This is part of measures to combat invasive species.
