17.1 percent of Cyprus population at risk of poverty or social exclusion
According to the Cypriot statistical authority, approximately 17.1 percent of the population of the Republic of Cyprus was at risk of poverty or social exclusion in 2025, corresponding to approximately 167,000 people. The rate remained almost unchanged compared to the previous year, while the rate of people specifically at risk of poverty increased.
