170th birthday of Sigmund Freud celebrated
May 6, 2026 marks the 170th anniversary of the birth of Austrian-Jewish neurophysiologist and psychiatrist Sigmund Freud. The founder of psychoanalysis is being honored with a memorial event at the Freud Museum in Hampstead, London - the house where he spent the last two years of his life with his family.
