19-Year-Old Escapes Police Detention Cell with Kick
A 19-year-old Syrian inmate managed to break out of the police cell in Larnaca last Friday by kicking open a deteriorated window grate. The prisoner was later recaptured. An investigation into police officer misconduct is not being conducted.
