1974 Prisoners of War: Investigation Into Illegal List Entries
The oversight authority is investigating cases of people who unlawfully registered themselves on the list of 1974 prisoners of war and thereby received monthly allowances of 1,000 euros. The chairman of the Pan-Cyprus Association of Prisoners of War confirms that witness statements from citizens and military officers may be gathered.
