2027 Budget: Spending Cuts with Increased Social Benefits
The Cypriot Council of Ministers has adopted the state budget for 2027 worth 11.2 billion euros. The government plans cost-saving measures on expenditures while increasing investments in infrastructure projects. Budget surpluses have fallen to 900 million euros and social benefits are being increased to 2.3 billion euros.
