24-year-old in critical condition after falling from garbage truck
A 24-year-old man was seriously injured after falling from a garbage truck in Strovolos. The incident occurred on April 23, 2026 on Austria Street heading toward Caucasus Street, when the man was standing on the rear of the vehicle. The young man was transported by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where he is being treated in critical condition and intubated.
