€26.3 Million: Foreigners Owe Cyprus Unpaid Fines
Cyprus's audit office reports that foreigners owe the state approximately €26.3 million in fines and court rulings from 2024. Many of these debts are not collected because the affected individuals have already left Cyprus. The authority also criticizes unclear procedures regarding suspension of enforcement orders.
