26 Road Deaths in 2026 – More Than Half Motorcycle Riders
Since the beginning of 2026, 26 people have died on Cyprus's roads, with motorcycle riders accounting for more than half the victims. Following a fatal accident involving a 30-year-old motorcyclist on Sunday, police spokesman Vyron Vyronos again urged motorists to take precautionary measures. Police are intensifying their accident prevention efforts.
