29-year-old arrested in Nicosia – European arrest warrant from Netherlands
Cypriot police have arrested a 29-year-old man in Nicosia based on a European arrest warrant issued by the Netherlands. The man is suspected of being involved in human trafficking and of belonging to a criminal organization. He has been taken into custody and is to be brought before the Nicosia District Court to initiate extradition proceedings.
