36-year-old fined 13,500 euros for bird poaching
A 36-year-old man was issued an out-of-court settlement of 13,500 euros for poaching in the Larnaca district. The anti-poaching unit discovered 17 wild birds trapped in nets in a fenced field on September 8, 2026. Five catching nets and additional equipment were also seized during the raid.
