381 full-day schools from September – massive expansion of program
Cyprus's government council has decided to significantly increase the number of full-day schools. According to Education Minister Athena Michailidou, the number is rising from 220 schools in 2023 to now 381 facilities. The new full-day schools will begin operation in September in several regions of the country and are intended to ease the burden on families.
