42-year-old on trial for attack on state prosecutor
A 42-year-old Syrian citizen must appear before the Supreme Court on Maundy Thursday to answer charges for attacking the Cypriot state prosecutor on Friday, April 3. Shortly after his four-year conviction by the court, the defendant committed a new criminal offense immediately thereafter. The case has been officially registered and scheduled for trial.
