45,000 euros in fines for illegal livestock transport
The Cypriot Veterinary Service has issued a total of eight fines totaling 45,000 euros against livestock farmers who violated restrictions related to foot-and-mouth disease. The penalties follow comprehensive inspections on farms and in areas with high livestock traffic. Additionally, six further serious cases were reported to the relevant authorities.
