450-million-year-old sea lily fossil with soft tissue
Researchers from the University of Oklahoma discovered a rare fossil of a sea lily that lived over 450 million years ago, offering unique insight into one of the earliest sea creatures. The fossil belongs to an ancient crinoid, an early relative of modern starfish and sea urchins.
