550 Warnings for Mobile Phone Use While Driving in One Week
A nationwide campaign for traffic awareness and enforcement (August 24-30) resulted in 550 warnings for driving without hands-free. Of these, 520 concerned mobile phone use while driving. Police conducted intensified controls to counter this safety violation.
