610-Million-Euro Plan for Livestock Sector Reconstruction
A twelve-year reform plan to restore the Cypriot livestock industry following the foot-and-mouth disease crisis was presented to the state president. The plan led by Stavros Malas includes comprehensive restructuring and modernization of the sector with an investment volume of 610 million euros. The program aims at fundamental revitalization of Cypriot cattle breeding.
