635 minor asylum applicants registered in Cyprus in 2025
Cyprus recorded a total of 2,385 first asylum applications in 2025, of which 635 were from minors, according to Eurostat data. This fits into a European context in which 158,400 minor asylum seekers filed their first applications in the EU.
