780 Dilapidated Buildings in Limassol – 80 Acutely at Risk of Collapse
Following the collapse of a multi-family residential building in Germasogeia with two fatalities, the critical problem of dilapidated buildings in the Limassol province becomes evident. Of 780 registered problem buildings, 80 are in acute danger of collapse, and tenants of another endangered building have been ordered to evacuate immediately. The problem should have been addressed long ago by authorities and municipal administrations.
