8 days detention for cigarette smuggling from occupied areas
A 37-year-old Bulgarian and a 39-year-old Turkish-Cypriot were sentenced to eight days of investigative detention for the illegal transport of large quantities of untaxed tobacco products from the occupied areas. The Nicosia District Court ordered the detention while police search for the recipient of the smuggled goods.
