81-Year-Old Inmate Dies in Nicosia Hospital
An 81-year-old prisoner who was serving a six-year sentence for sexual crimes at the Central Prisons passed away Tuesday evening at Nicosia General Hospital. The inmate suffered from serious health problems and regularly required dialysis procedures. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance at approximately 18:45 and died shortly after 22:20.
