83-Year-Old Woman Loses €127,000 in Online Fraud Case
An 83-year-old woman fell victim to a fraudster who posed as an employee of an online payment platform and called her. The caller used a European phone number pretext and persuaded the senior to disclose her bank account details. Police in Nicosia have launched an investigation.
