85-year-old man dies from injuries after car accident in Nicosia
The 85-year-old Andreas Christou succumbed to injuries he sustained after being run over by a reversing car in the Anthoupolis refugee settlement in Nicosia. The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m. at Archbishop Makarios Square, caused by a 38-year-old driver.
