Acute nursing shortage: 600 open positions in Cyprus healthcare system
The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (ΟΕΒ) organized an emergency meeting of private healthcare providers due to the acute shortage of nursing staff. Approximately 600 positions are currently vacant, and the private sector expects government measures to solve the crisis. Several industry associations participated in the meeting and jointly issued a statement.
