Affected Communities Call for Halt to Prison Construction
Communities in South Nicosia-Idalion and Latsia-Yeri, affected by the planned construction of a new central prison, want to discuss their concerns directly with Justice Minister Costas Fitiris. The two affected communities have called on the government to reconsider the decision to build the new prisons and wish to present their complaints at a meeting with the minister.
