African Wild Dogs Travel Thousands of Kilometers to Find Mates
A new study shows that African wild dogs can travel over 4,000 kilometers across the continent to find partners. Three brothers covered 4,126 kilometers over a period of eight months, which represents the longest documented migration of an African mammal. The research suggests that populations of this endangered species are more interconnected than previously assumed.
