AI cameras to detect traffic violations in Cyprus
Cyprus's traffic ministry has submitted a draft law for public consultation that aims to introduce AI-powered cameras. These cameras are intended to automatically detect and document traffic violations such as driving while using a mobile phone or not wearing a seatbelt. The first stationary cameras are to be installed in urban areas.
