AI System Enables Detection of Sperm in Infertile Men
Researchers at Columbia University have developed a new AI procedure called STAR (Sperm Track and Recovery) that uses machine learning algorithms to detect individual sperm amid millions of cell remnants. This technology offers hope for men diagnosed with azoospermia, who were previously considered infertile because no sperm could be detected in their ejaculation.
