Air freight costs surge by 95% due to Iran conflict
International air freight prices increased by up to 95 percent between February and March, driven by reduced freight capacity and higher fuel costs as a result of the Iran conflict. Prices are approaching the peak levels from the COVID-19 pandemic. Air freight routes such as Shanghai are particularly affected.
