Air travel demand falls due to wars and fuel costs
Global air travel demand fell 1.7 percent in June compared to the previous year, driven by weaker domestic flights in China, the United States, and Japan, as well as ongoing disruptions in the Middle East. According to data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), aircraft capacity also declined 1.3 percent year-over-year.
