AirBaltic Files for Insolvency – Second Airline Hit by Middle East Conflict
Latvian airline AirBaltic, majority-controlled by the Latvian government, has filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. bankruptcy code in New York. The company has secured a financing commitment of 350 million euros from funders including Strategic Value Partners and Barclays.
