Aircraft with 180 passengers lands in Cyprus after hijack false alarm
A passenger aircraft of Electra Airways from Warsaw to Tel Aviv with 180 passengers requested landing permission in Cyprus on Tuesday after the pilot accidentally activated the aircraft's hijack signal. The captain informed air traffic control shortly thereafter that the alarm had been triggered in error.
