Akamas constructs artificial reef to combat coastal erosion
The Akamas municipality plans to install an artificial reef off Coral Bay to reduce coastal erosion. The 280,000-euro pilot project involves submerging approximately 220 concrete structures on the seabed 130 meters from the coast. The tender process began on Thursday, with works to follow shortly.
