AKEL and PEO Agree: Higher Pensions Without Additional Contribution Increases
The Communist Party AKEL and the trade union federation PEO reached agreement on comprehensive pension reform with performance improvements, without additional contribution increases beyond already agreed-upon raises and without raising the retirement age. Particular attention is being given to the connection between the social insurance fund and welfare benefits funds.
