AKEL Chief Warns Against Entrenchment of Cyprus Division
AKEL party chairman Stefanos Stefanou called for intensified peace talks for Cyprus during a commemorative event in Dali. He warned that the ongoing blockade in negotiations entrenches Turkish occupation and increases the risk of permanent division of the island. Stefanou spoke on the occasion of a remembrance of the killings of Dervish Ali Kavazoglu and Costas Misiaoulis that occurred 61 years ago.
