Alexandra Cousteau calls world leaders to ocean monitoring
Ocean conservation activist Alexandra Cousteau called on government leaders at the UN General Assembly to use ocean monitoring as key to ocean restoration. She announced, together with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, the founding of the OceanEye International Alliance for the Global Ocean Observation System.
