Allianz Warns of 225,000 Job Losses Due to Energy Crisis
Allianz Research warns of the risk of over 225,000 job losses in the Eurozone should a prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz and renewed energy crisis occur. Although labor markets in the US and Europe currently appear robust and unemployment remains near historic lows, conditions could be dramatically exacerbated by an energy shock.
