American pilot survived 50 hours injured in Iran
An American pilot survived nearly 50 hours injured and alone in the mountains of Iran after his aircraft crashed. Despite serious injuries to his back, hand, and shoulder and minimal water and food supplies, he was able to hide while Iranian forces searched for him.
