An inheritance cannot be gifted through renunciation
Under Cypriot inheritance law, an inheritance cannot be treated as a gift through renunciation. Inheritance law in Cyprus governs the transfer of assets upon death either through a will or according to statutory succession. The Wills and Succession Law (Chapter 195) establishes how the assets of deceased persons pass to the beneficiaries.
