Ancient builders mastered dolomite lime plaster 8000 years before Romans
New archaeological research shows that the use of dolomite lime plaster in the Neolithic period began approximately 8000 years earlier than previously assumed. Ancient builders were already burning dolomite into plaster material long before the Romans did so. The study was published in the Journal of Archaeological Science and refutes previous scientific assumptions about early building materials.
