Researchers from the Danish National Museum and the University of Copenhagen have conducted a comprehensive examination of a collection of ancient cuneiform tablets that could provide evidence of the historical reality of Gilgamesh. The legendary Sumerian king is known from one of humanity's oldest known stories. The tablets could represent rare evidence for the existence of this mythological figure.
