Ancient Cypriot Jug Returned from USA
An ancient Cypriot jug dating from between 600 and 480 BC has been returned from the United States to Cyprus. The Department of Antiquities announced that the antiquity was handed over to the Cypriot embassy in Washington. The jug was identified by officials monitoring the illegal trade in Cypriot antiquities after it was discovered at an online auction.
