Ancient Egyptian Settlement Reveals Life 3,500 Years Ago
An Egyptian archaeological mission has discovered an ancient settlement with graves, residential complexes, ovens, and storage facilities at Tell el-Koua in the Wadi Tumilat region of Ismailia Governorate. The discoveries date from Egypt's Second Intermediate Period and provide insight into one of the most important ancient settlements in the eastern Nile Delta.
