Ancient fossils show earliest traces of violence among humans
Scientists discovered injury marks on a 100,000-year-old human skull (Qafzeh 25) from Israel that correspond to the earliest known evidence of a targeted knife attack. The discovery provides insights into the culture of violence in prehistoric societies and is extremely rarely documented in fossils from this time period.
