Ancient Greeks Developed Early Patent Protection System
A historical analysis shows that Ancient Greece may have already developed an intellectual property protection system similar to modern patent law. The Greek author Athenaeus of Naucratis from the 3rd century AD hints at such early forms of intellectual property.
