Ancient Maya Settlement Discovered in Mexico
Archaeologists have discovered a Maya settlement with 80 buildings and rare wall paintings in southern Mexico. The site, named 'El Jefeciño', is located in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco in Quintana Roo and covers approximately 100 hectares, possibly more. The National Institute is conducting further investigations.
