Ancient Roman Cup with Hadrian's Wall Names Found in Spain
Archaeologists have discovered a rare bronze Roman cup in northern Spain bearing names of fortresses from Hadrian's Wall in Britain. The so-called Berlanga Cup was found by chance on a farm in the province of Soria. New research suggests that a Roman soldier may have taken the cup home with him after his service at the British frontier fortress.
