Ancient Shipwreck Reveals Greek-Etruscan Trade Relations
An ancient shipwreck discovered in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Tuscan coast of Italy provides researchers with new insights into trade transport between Greeks and Etruscans over 2,500 years ago. The wreck, discovered in 1961 in the Bay of Campese on the island of Giglio, dates from the early 6th century BCE.
