Androulla Vassiliou Criticizes Withdrawal of Police Protection
Former EU Commissioner Androulla Vassiliou has criticized the decision by the Cypriot Justice Ministry to end her police protection. She and widowed ex-president's wife Elsie Christofia are among two women from whom this security measure was withdrawn. Vassiliou described this decision as 'peculiar'.
